For the Cyclist
The “river side strasse” of the Mosel has an ideal terrain for the cyclist, being flat and almost without any gradients. With the river on one side and the vineyards on the other, riding along the Mosel makes fitness fun. If you get muscle fatigue part way round the distance, to get back there are the options of the cycle bus, the national railway or a ferry. Sports bike and mountain bike trekking can be arranged with an ideal training course via the steep vineyard ways with excursions into the side valleys of the Eifel and Hunsrück.
